The cooking pot as well as the meal is called a tajine. I can't remember the name of it in Arabic. http://www.recipezaar.com/Beef-and-Prune鈥?/a> This one is with beef as the meat.

http://www.recipezaar.com/Lamb-and-Prune鈥?/a> This one is for lamb.

I don't agree at all with the beef and prune tajine recipe saying "serve with rice or cous cous". Traditionally most tajines are eaten with bread.
it's called "tagine dial lhem be el berkouk" that's the arabic name in english it's called "LAMB AND PRUNE TAGINE" it doesn't have just this ingredients that u mentioned there is a lot more, there is the recipe

Cooking time: 2 hours

In a large pan, saute onions in 2 tablespoons oil for about 3 minutes, stirring from time to time with a wooden spoon.

Heat the rest of the oil in another pan, then saute almonds for a few minutes, over a high heat. Can anyone tell me what this is called its a very popular dish in agadir ....?
It called the same name as what it is served in; so it's "tagine of meat" in english, and in arabic is "tagine allahm"...

It's very easy to cook; you just have to put the tagine on the hob, put in the sunflower oil and onion with spices(paprika, cumin, salt...) and fry it for 2 or 3 min, then add the meat and mix it with the onions till it absorbs some of the spice and oil then put it in the centre of the tagine bowl, and you can also add if you want a little bit of tomato and olives on top of the meat, then add a small glass of the water, and put on the lid and cook it at a low heat for maybe about 40 min or till it's well cooked, then you can add a boiled egg if you want, then make some moroccan tea with mint for yourself and don't forget to invite me over! hhhh

Enjoy
