Need help with Sunday Dinner!?

So on Sunday I am making a 2 course dinner for my Mum, Sister and Brother. For the main course I am making Moroccan Lamb Tagine. And for dessert I wanted to this recipe:

The only problem is it has brandy in. Which is alcohol which I don't want to put in. I need a alternative to put in that is a liquid. Need it by tomorrow if that's OK. And the Moroccan Tagine recipe I am using if you want to know is this one:

Alcohol is not usually used for the liquid factor but rather for flavour (if cooking, the alcohol leaves with an entirely different taste). Alcohol is often used to enhance and bring out the other flavours through a chemical reaction.

If definite you cannot use then maybe try vanilla or flavoured essences or fruit juices.
Flavored essences are good. Alcohol should be fine, if you boil it beforehand, the alcohol gets cooked out and you have the flavor left.Need help with Sunday Dinner!?
you can put orange juice. orange goes well with chocolate.
