So far the cheapest I've found them for is $8 through AAA, and $8 through UPMC Perks.

AAA is probably the way to go if you can get them for $8. I don't think I've ever seen them cheaper for the zoo really. Sometimes you can find discounts on pop cans but I honestly haven't seen them for the zoo for years either, now a days it's either for Sandcastle or Kennywood in Pittsburgh.
