Next week I am going to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PBG Aquarium, and I need help.?

I am going to the zoo and my parents are coming, they haven't been there for 20 years almost 21. Does any one have recommendations on where we should shop, and eat. We will walk everywhere. But I want a good meal and a amazing gift.Next week I am going to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PBG Aquarium, and I need help.?
If you're planning on eating *in* the zoo, I hate to say it, but all of the food is the same: fried, greasy, and sub par. We recently started bringing packed lunches, because they don't check your bags on the way in, and they are cheaper, healthier and far better tasting than anything sold in the zoo.



As far as places to shop, there are several places to buy souvenirs, each one kind of corresponding to the area you find it in. For a good general shop to buy stuff in, I would recommend one of the gift shops near the entrance of the zoo. But my personal favorite is the shop inside the aquarium, which obviously sells only sea life related things, but I think the stuff they sell in there is cooler.
