What to do on my vacation to Boston...?

My friend and I are going on vacation to Boston in mid-March OUTSIDE of the tourist season so much of the "tourist" stuff will not be running. What should we do? We're going to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the New England Aquarium. Any other suggestions? Thank you all very much. What to do on my vacation to Boston...?
Since you are doing the New England Aquarium, you should check out Fanueil Hall/ Quincy Market. A 2 minute walk from the aquarium. Also you should try the Duck Tours, heard they where lots of fun. You could visit the Old North Church, the Freedom Trail, and the U.S.S. Constitution. The Old North Church and the U.S.S. Constution are part of the freedom trail. Plus it all depend on what you want to see and do. You should check out some Boston tourist website for some other ideas. Hope this helps.
Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall are a must see. There are push-carts and street performers. The following website details other fun things to do in Boston -

Enjoy! What to do on my vacation to Boston...?
well there is a lot of site seeing
Boston dinner cruise and the midevil manner in boston both are great fun .
Take a drive down to Plymouth, MA 45-60 mins from Boston. Stop and see the Plymouth rock, Mayflower. Plenty of tours of Plymouth are available as well, year round. Woods seafood is a great place to eat, as well as Iccac's on the waterfront.

If you have the time take a drive down to Cape Cod. P-town is 60 mins from Plymouth and its a beautiful relaxing drive and you wont be sorry. Plenty of places to eat and shop and you will always see something worth while when your there.

Or you can always drive your car on the boat and take it over to Martha's Vineyard. Boat runs all year. Cant go wrong spending a day or two there.

If you just want to stay in Boston take the Fenway Park tour. The tour runs every 45 mins throughout the day and is $10.00 per person. Takes you behind scenes and is about an hour tour. Good take in for the money.

Hope you enjoy your trip!!! Safe travels!!

Take the subway. It's pretty easy once you get on the right line. there are maps at every station and if you ask the right people they can tell you what train and stop you want.

Things to do:

-Go to a red sox game

-Take a Tour of Fenway! ($10)

-Go to the Museum of Fine arts

-Go to the science museum

-Eating at the north end is a definite! Lots of places have their menus in the windows, and you can ask people what they like while they're there. I suggest Vitoria's. But everywhere's good!

-Go to fanuel Hall- great food there

-China Town is fun and has good food

-The Cheescake Factory- Nothing special for the meals, just very expensive, but the cheescake is amazing!

-Shop on Newbury Street- kinda expensive, actually, but window shopping's always fun!

-Filene's basement has plenty of good deals

-Take a Duck Tour! They're great! I suggest you take one the first day that you get there, it kinda shows you around the city! It should be running during March

-Go to the Public Garden

-walk along the Charles River

-Go to the State House

-The Freedom Trail

Plymouth is about 45 minutes away . . . .

-Go to Plymouth Plantation and see the mayflower, plymouth rock, etc.

- Go to the beach while you're there

-Just walk around, you'll find something to do, I assure you!
