Alcatraz Tours Sold Out?

I'm going to San Francisco with my Aunt tomorrow and we were planning to go to Alcatraz on Thursday the 15. We didn't know you had to get tickets in advance and there all sold out. Is there any way you can get tickets when your there or are there any sites that usually have tickets available? Any help would be appreciated!Alcatraz Tours Sold Out?
You have two options:



1. show up at Alcatraz landing and see if they have any no shows or returned tickets.

2. Stop by the City Sightseeing tour bus company on fisherman's wharf, 2800 Leavenworth and see if they have tickets for sale. The bus companies buy a block of tickets for package deals and if they haven't sold all their Alcatraz tickets in packages they can sell them to you.
