I'm cooking a chicken tagine, instead of honey can i put golden syrup in. Does it matter?

I have never actually cooked chicken tagine myself but i have ate it and it really does not make a difference if you use golden syrup. Me personally, i like it better with the golden syrup.I'm cooking a chicken tagine, instead of honey can i put golden syrup in. Does it matter?

Sure it matters, do you want it to taste good or bad. I would not put syrup in.
