Two of us are travelling to the USA in October. We are spending a week in NY, a week at Disneyworld, a week in San Francisco and a week in Vegas. All hotels are paid for. All flights are paid for. We have also paid for our Disneyworld passes, a couple of Broadway shows, tickets to an NFL game and tickets to a couple of shows in Vegas.
So...what I need to find out is how much is it going to cost for meals, cabs, a little bit of shopping and sightseeing (museum fees, Alcatraz tour, etc) for the month? We are not big drinkers (a bottle of wine a couple of nights a week with dinner willl cover us) and are generally happy with middle of the road dinners (TGI Friday's, Chinese, Thai, good pizza and the like) but would like to be able to enjoy the US experience without having to worry about how much it will cost.
All responses most appreciated. How much money will I need for one month in the USA?
well maybe...
one day's worth of food: $70
shopping: $150
wine twice a week: $100
gambling: $1000
cab everyday: $30
museums: (some a free but some have charges) $20 per museum
other bits like souvenirs/candy bars/snacks/small gifts: $30
so in total...
(70x30)+150+(100x4)+1000+(30x30)+(20x5鈥?br>
$5,580
i guess you could cut back on the gambling and the wine. and try to use buses and subways in NYC and there's no need for cabs at Disneyworld.
If you really want to enjoy your time for one month, I think it would be somewhere between 5-8000. Las Vegas is a killer. It just depends on how you do it. If you do it cheap 5000 is enough, and you will still have a great time. 8000 and up if you are a big spending baller.
Good luck and have fun!How much money will I need for one month in the USA?
Seems to me that you're set.
I guess now it all depends in how much you're willing to spend to have a very memorable stay.
I will go with $4,000 and up you're good. But if you're planning on doing some extra shopping....you might want to take a few extra bucks.
And if you're a food fan...Mmmm...then yeah, a few extra bucks!
Enjoy your stay! =)
