Any secrets in finding great deals on a Disney Cruise Line vacation?

To be honest, it can be really hard to find discounts for a Disney cruise. The cruise is so popular that they don't really need to offer an specials. Once and a while one will pop in, but not very often. The best thing to do is book out far in advance, use an agent and go during one of the off seasons. The lowest cost is during hurricane season, for obvious reasons. Going during hurricane season is still fine, you will be safe, the cruise line takes good care of you, but just be sure to get travel protection during this time, you don't want to lose out on a cruise.



You should look into using a travel agent, there are a lot of Disney specialized agents that will have a ton of info for you as well. But, almost every agency offers some onboard credit for you. The higher your category/price, the more you get.



Other than that, sometimes Disney offers onboard credit if you make all your payments with a Disney visa and if you book online I think they are giving $25 right now.



I wouldn't wait too long to book, Disney cruises book way out in advance, the further out you book, the lower your price. The closer you get to your travel dates, the higher the prices will go. Unless, Disney offers a discount for a few rooms that are left over, but this doesn't happen very often.
