Is the disney cruise line good?

Im going to be on it from august 8th to 18th. Im going on the Disney Magic and its a 10 day meditteranean cruise. This is my first cruise and I was wondering is it good!? Im so excited and can't wait!Is the disney cruise line good?
Disney Cruise Line is a very good product....

There are some pluses and some minuses in all cruise lines...

I sailed the Disney Wonder last September for a wonderful 10 night Southern Caribbean itinerary.

The rotational dining is really nice...I enjoyed it...

The ship, although it does attract many adults without kids...is geared toward kids...there is no casino onboard...

The pool areas are fabulous...the Mickey pool for the younger kids is soooo awesome. There is the adults only pool for peace and quiet.

I personally wasn't over thrilled with the kids room (my daughter was 4 at the time) but it wasn't too bad. They have a graduation from it where the kids earn their graduation ears...really cute.

The food was very good overall...they tend to run out of some fruits...

There are 4 secret cabins, that are sold as cat 7, but the balconies aren't really obstructed...great value...

Have a wonderful time...

I went on the Disney Cruise when i was 14.. and for some reason i didn't like it that much. I think it's more for younger kids (the atmosphere) The food was good though. It may be different because i went on the Wonder and it was only 3 days n i was ready to roll. have fun..Is the disney cruise line good?
We just came back from the Disney Cruise Line "Magic" Mediterranean cruise. Disney did an excellent job organizing the cruise from the day we landed in Barcelona, they made sure we were well briefed on what to do by meeting us at the airport and taking us to our pre-cruise hotel. Disney Cruise Line also had arranged for us to check in for the Cruise at our Hotel so we pretty much bypassed the lines at the terminal.

Read through the information they sent you. Once you're on board, check out the channels for the shore excurisions (there's a channel for each port of call), shopping tips and seminars/lectures for each port of call, what to expect and shopping tips/discounts.

The shore excursions tickets are delivered to your hotel room. Disney also will deliver a daily newletter on the next day shore excursions, shows (there are normally two shows at night), movies schedule (there are 3 movie theaters). Disney organizes each tour, or you can travel on your own...some of our new found friends did so and they had little or no problems.

Dining was great rotating from between 3 dining rooms, each with a different theme. Or, if you want to go impromptu to the Topsider Dinner Buffet, get there early for the best seating and the food is normally right out of the kitchens.

The shore excursions were fantastic and Disney Cruise line had photographers all over the place taking your pictures (you don't need to be part of the Disney Cruise Shore Excursions) so just let the photographer know you are with the Disney Cruise. You can pick out your pictures the next day using one of the photo packages you can purchase.

Time went by so fast that I wish I could go one more time...see the sites we missed the first time. Again, Disney made sure you were well briefed on the final night to disembark to take you to the airport or to a post-cruise hotel (we did another post-cruise hotel stay in Barcelona).

Good Luck and You'll have a great time.
