I was thinking about a career change.?
Working for the Walt Disney Company would be an excellent decision. Try working at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. There's thousands of different jobs available and they give excellent benefits. You could work at one of the resorts/hotels, one of the restaurant or stores, or at one of the attractions at the theme parks. Plus, you get free family vacations to the theme parks each year. Walt Disney World is the largest single-site employer in the U.S. and the number one vacation destination in the world. It would be an amazing experience and you'd get to meet hundreds of people from all over the world, not just the U.S. There are Cast Member from almost any country you could think of, and Guests from all over the world are always traveling there.

  • Disney cruise line ships negatively effect the environment?

I'm doing a project for semester exam and I need info on how Disney cruise line ships effect the environment in 3 negative ways.Disney cruise line ships negatively effect the environment?
    You mean "affect", I think.

Disney cruise line ships don't negatively affect the environment any more than the ships from any other line. Maybe the DON'T in fact negatively affect the environment in three ways.

If you're doing a project, then that means YOU need to do some research. I'd guess you can find info on this topic by doing a search on the topic.

When should we get the luggage tags for the disney cruise line?

and also my friend who has been on the cruise twice, says im suppose to have a ticket that says disney cruise line on it and all the info, thats my ticket to board the ship, when do i get that?

Do like mail it to you a week before your cruise or something?

Also how am i suppose to know and trust they will get my luggage at the airport when the special luggage tag is on them? When should we get the luggage tags for the disney cruise line?
You get your ticket from wherever you booked your cruise. Normally you have to pay in advance and they usually mail out the tickets 3-4 wks in advance (after you have paid in full)

Once you get your ticket, make sure you label your luggage for your own sake to make it easy to locate. Normally the airlines have the luggage forwarded to the cruise ship. However, if they do not, you will have to pick it up at the airlines luggage pick up. If you are taking a cab or bus, you then will transfer your luggage and they will make sure it gets on the ship.

Most cruises handle everything from the beginning to the end. Everything is checked and double checked. But, do not worry there will be plenty of staff to help you know what to do, Also, there will be others travelers that will show you. It really is very simple and I know you will really enjoy the cruise. I love taking them. They have everything on board in the event you forget something.

So don't worry. Just relax and have fun. The airlines and staff that handle your luggage put your destination and tags on for you. When should we get the luggage tags for the disney cruise line?
You will have no problem with your luggage at the airport, with soecial handling on it. Been there done that. As far as the luggage tags I would contact the cruise line, don't wait till the last minute.

Does the Disney Cruise Line have everything that Disney World has?

My mom told me that Disney Cruise Line is loke Disney World on a boat.

Does it have what Magic Kingdom has?

Does it have what Animal Kingdom has?

Does it have what Epcot has?

does it have what Hollywood studios has?Does the Disney Cruise Line have everything that Disney World has?
No. It shows disney movies, you can meet disney characters, the restaurant is similar. There are swimming pools and lots of kids. But, no animals or big rides.
They have an interactive restaurant and one that changes colors. An aqua duct waterslide and stuff but nothing as big as Disney World itself.Does the Disney Cruise Line have everything that Disney World has?
    No, it doesn't.

It has plenty of stuff-- lots of character opportunities, activities for all ages, movies %26amp; shows, pools, etc... but nothing from the theme parks. It doesn't have the kind of rides and such you find at the theme parks.

It's different-- not better or worse-- just a little different, because it's a cruise experience, not a theme park. People wouldn't pay $10,000 to go on a cruise if they could just spend $5000 going to the parks.
no rides, only 1 show per night only one character breakfast. a couple of character meet n greets/photo ops

it is actually VERY different form the theme parks other than the theming and attention to detail.
No. Disney Cruise Line and DisneyWorld are two separate things. The cruise will have a Disney theme and some of the Disney characters.

Is is hard to get hired at Disney Cruise Line?

when you ask in travel and not employment, yes.

What do you think of Disney Cruise Line?

I am considering taking a cruise on the Disney Cruise Line. Any recomendations? What do you think of it?What do you think of Disney Cruise Line?
I believe that Disney is the best cruise line. They have been rated one of the best cruise experiences. They have a lot of activities for all ages. They will cater to your every need. They are also a cruise line of firsts. They are the only cruise line to have fireworks at sea also they are the only to have different color lifeboats, mickey yellow, instead of the standard orange. They are the first to offer 24 hour complementary sodas, teas, and coffees. There is so much to do and i believe you would have a great time.
I think the Disney folks do a great job with the cruise line. It is more expensive then other cruise lines though. Seems like the best chance to save is during the off-season travel time They have 2 new ships coming out. The first is the Dream and it goes into operation in 2011.

The magnificent Disney Dream boasts 14 decks full of new features and exciting activities. Designed with families in mind, the ship offers classic cruise entertainment such as 3-D movies in the Buena Vista Movie Theatre and family deck parties, as well as cruise-industry firsts like AquaDuck, the thrilling onboard water coaster. Designed to reflect the glamour of the 1930s, Disney Dream combines a sophisticated ambiance with the imaginative storytelling of Disney. More than 80% of the staterooms feature ocean views and most also include split bathrooms, another first in the cruise industry. Younger children can spend their time in Andy鈥檚 Room, Monster鈥檚 Academy, Pixie Hollow or Explorer Pod while teenagers can retreat to Edge or Vibe, hip teen-only venues. Adults also have a place to call their own 鈥擳he District features an adults-only nighttime entertainment area with several bars and lounges to choose from. Dining options include an elegant, adults-only restaurant, three themed main dining rooms and casual buffets. Join the spectacular Disney Dream and never experience a dull moment.

Hope I helped! What do you think of Disney Cruise Line?
Disney is the best cruise line for families. Their 2 ships are super clean and nice. The staff is wonderful. The food is amazing. The activities and shows are nothing less (Spectacular) than what you would expect from Disney. Their private island is awesome. This cruise line is a little more expensive but it is well worth it. You definitely get your money's worth not like some cheap carnival cruise.
