Ex lied to me after breakup but i have to work with her?

my ex dumped me 2 months ago. she made all of these plans the week before about things she wanted to do with me. she told me the morning she broke up with me that she loved me and later that night we talked and she ended it. 2 weeks later she makes out with this guy she told me shed never date and obviously knew i was jealous over. 2 weeks ago she asked me top go to the fair with her and i did. 2 days later she went with another guy. now two months later shes seeing this guy and doing all the plans she made with me with him like going to the baltimore aquarium. i know the simple solution is to forget her but its not that simple. she works at the same place as me and her mom is my direct supervisor. i know, bad idea to date the bosses daughter but cant go back in time. i just cant get over her for some awful reason. any help?Ex lied to me after breakup but i have to work with her?
Your ex gf made a list of things she wanted to do with you. Now you you two broke up she's doing them with someone else. It's easy to say for you to move on but that's exactly what you need to do. When she see's you dating other girls or her mom see's you having lunch at work with another girl, believe me, it'll bother her and you feel soooo much better. These aren't the exact reasons for you to start dating but it'll get you going and you'll feel better soon LOL

I have a dilemma..............?

Ok, to start this off I KNOW this isn't the correct section for this question, but I DO need some opinions.

So, I haven't been on vacation since I was 9 (I am 14 now), and my Mum and dad haven't been getting along swimmingly lately, so my Mum decided that the two of us would go on vacation. We can go pretty much anywhere in the mainland. Neither of us have any desire to go to the south, but we like out west and we like the northern east coast. So, we came up with 3 plans......

Plan #1.) We drive from where we live, somewhere on/near the east coast, and drive to Chesapeake, then we go to Virginia Beach, then Washington DC, Smithsonian, etc, then we go to the Baltimore Aquarium. That's plan #1.

Plan #2.) We take a plane from where we live now to Denver, go to Yellowstone National Park, Rock Mountain National Park, Pikes Peak, the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devils Tower and Grand Teton National Park, etc. That's plan #2.

Plan #3.) Drive from where we live to Michigan, take a boat to Mackinaw Island, go back to Michigan, get the car, drive to Lake Michigan, then drive to Lake Superior, then drive to Lake Huron, and get back home through Ottowa and Niagara Falls.

So, my question is, what vacation would you choose??

And, trust me, I am NOT spoiled, this is my first vacation in 5 years. But, I am VERY VERY grateful.I have a dilemma..............?
Plan 2 sounds awesome!I have a dilemma..............?
I'd stick with Plan #1. It would be hassle-free and you'd save more money, methinks.

Have fun.

Who's getting a vacation this summer???

HI Answers Buds!

I was wondering if familes were having trouble this year finantially for taking kids on vacation? I mean with the gas and food prices is it going to effect peoples usual summer travel and vacation plans? I'm not sure about us yet..we usually hit the shore or something for a couple of weeks but it's looking like the pool we belong to might be our freekin' vacation. I mean we're planning some day trips and already went to great Adventure and will be doing some museams and stuff in philly maybe do Baltimore Aquarium again but I don't think we're going to be getting that heavenly 2 weeks away were used to.

How about everyone else?

Love,

EileenWho's getting a vacation this summer???
The Dutch taxes made an error:in stead of getting money back,I had to pay them:the first time ever. And I am not talking about a tiny piece of cake either

I should receive back at least 3500$.

Normally you need to appeal within 8 weeks ,we have a funny system:there is also a free number you can call about everything concerning taxes.

Got them finally on the phone and found out there have been huge mistakes made.A few million forms were done wrong and had to be re done again.Mine is scheduled at the 26th of June,so by the end of this month I get back ,what should have been returned to me in the beginning of May.Then I would have gone all-inclusive to Turkey for no more then 450$ for 14 days.

Now you don't even get a week for that money:it is high season there.

So:this year I cannot go.

Or the prices must drop at the end of the season:but even then I think I won't go:live near the beach here so I can go there a few times also. And book in December for next May.

Then Turkey looks at it's best.

Sky.
I'm getting a vacation!. Me and my boyfriend are taking the kids to the 1000 Islands next week!Who's getting a vacation this summer???
my parents are taking my brother and i on vacation

we live outside of pittsburgh and the past few years we have bee going to cape may, new jersey. this year just for a change we are going to chincateague island, in virginia. we only do one week vacations, we have been all my life.
I think everyone deserves a vacation. I for one am deffinetly going on vacation this summer for my cousins wedding. =)
I take 2 weeks every summer and a week in the winter. I went to the Caribbean in March. Yes prices are high, but I make a way to afford it. Just by cutting back on Lattes and going out all the time. My job is stressful, and where I live there aren't a lot of things to do, so I have to go away. But, I must add, it is just my boyfriend and I - no kids, so it is affordable for us.
no.

im going to the carribean on a cruise next week
I shop around for really good deals. My Husband and I went on a 7 day Bahama cruise in March for 1400. We are going to Negril on 7/3 for 5 days and it only cost us 1300 (all inclusive) and we booked a 4 day Florida trip on labor day for 688.00 total. Its really expensive when you have kids- I know our trips with the kids will be to beaches and amusements parks. I'm counting my pennies now...eeeeek!
Just got back from the beautiful North GA Mountains! We have a vacation rental and finally had a few empty days!
unfortuntly with gas prices its expensive to just go tho the mall my husband gets 2 weeks (im i stay at home mom )its costly to pack up and take a nice trip with the kids.fortuntly we live near st.louis so taking the kids to the zoo muesums is going to be there summer vacation. The gas prices suck and people ive talk to with kids cant afford road trips somthing has to bee done about the price of gas it realy is afecting peoples summer plans
i jack off

Where can I find information on. . .?

So, my boyfriends birthday is coming up. I wanted to buy him tickets for us to go to the Baltimore Aquarium, however I went on the website and all I could find was tours. I want to be able to go all over. And look at different exhibits. Am I able to do so? And where can I find other information? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Where can I find information on. . .?

  • WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR MY 13th BIRTHDAY??!?!?!?

This year, In November, I am turning 13, and I am not sure what to do. I am not a girly girl, so, make-up and manicures are out of the question. One of my bestfriends is a boy so I want to do something that he would like too. I know jack-diddly about sports and I do like dolphins. So far, I thought of taking 3-4 friends to New York or a few friends to the Baltimore Aquarium for their spend the night in the aquarium program, but my guest list exceeds my spending limits. Also, I have thought about having a dance prty, but my grandmother doesn't like the idea. I also have thought about skating, bowling and things like that but I've done that before. I have 18 people on my list. WHAT SHOULD I DO???WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR MY 13th BIRTHDAY??!?!?!?
Regardless of what you have done before, The party should be about having fun with friends, Skating and bowling are both great ideas. Get the birthday package at either place and enjoy your time with all your friends together.

At your age, I realize that you may not equate fun without spending a large amount of money, but trust me, it can be done and generally speaking, the amount of cost does not guarantee a particular level of return.

You may also want to consider a pizza party at chucky cheese or some such place. If I were involved in the fun and games, I would commandeer the ski-ball, then harrass the big mouse if somebody were in the suit.

Congrats on the birthday! The next 5 years are going to be some of the most magical for you when you look back with the eye of age (and hopefully wisdom)
Enjoy it! Then wait for your 14th.WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR MY 13th BIRTHDAY??!?!?!?
i think you should just have a party at your house and a sleepover for the girls.
Do whatever you want. Just make sure it is OK with your guardian/parent. You seem kind of old to be having a birthday party so I suggest taking 3 or 4 of your friends out someplace (maybe New York, as you said).

    Family travel ideas?

I am trying to find an affordable and fairly closeby (within four hours) place for a family summer vacation. I have a 6 year old almost 5 year old and 2 year old. I love for my children to experience new things (we have been to Baltimore aquarium) but as a family of 5 are on a tight budget. We live on the easter shore of MD and would like to do just a weekend trip. Any ideas?

He designed a 30 story apt building along the chesapeake bay by the baltimore aquarium, and he just wants to know what to call it. • I want to be a dolphin trainer, need to know some things.?

I have wanted to be a dolphin trainer ever since i swam with dolphins when i was 6, I want to be able to observe dolphin trainers while they work to see what it takes to be one and how they train the dolphins.

If anyone can tell me if the baltimore aquarium allows a person to come and follow them around and see what it takes to be a dolphin trainer then that would be great!I want to be a dolphin trainer, need to know some things.?
If you love dolphins you should become a marine biologist and study them, protect them, and rescue them. Don't train them to be trapped in an aquarium! They belong in the big blue! Sorry i know it's not a real answer to your question but i surf with them everyday and hate the thought of them being locked up. :(I want to be a dolphin trainer, need to know some things.?
The Baltimore Aquarium does take volunteers, and if you contact them via email (find the appropriate email address on their website at aqua.org) I'm sure you could ask them if your could career shadow one of the dolphin trainers. Generally, aquarium are supposed to be educational, and that certainly is a form of education. Good luck!

Is it legal to adopt and own a shark?

Okay, so my friend and I are thinking about renting out someone's house or something (when out of high school, ready for college) and I was just wondering if anyone knew if we could Legally adopt/own a shark...like not a Tiger or Great White or Black Tip...like a Dogfish, Bay, or something along those lines. We are gonna apply for jobs at the Baltimore Aquarium...when we are old enough. Does anyone know if it's illegal or not to own a shark and if so, WHERE DO WE GET ONE!?Is it legal to adopt and own a shark?
Not sure about the legality, but most sharks are unable to survive very long in captivity. Here's some great shark info: http://www.the-shark-side-of-life.com/
There are people who own small sharks. Be aware that even small sharks need HUGE tanks. Expect to shell out probably somewhere around $50,000 for a suitable habitat. The shark itself would be purchased from one of several companies that sell them, and would cost at least a couple thousand, plus transport. Upkeep on tanks that size is very expensive as well. Basically, as a college student, there is absolutely no way you could afford it unless you have filthy rich parents who enjoy giving you large sums of money. Also, no one renting out a house would allow a shark tank to be installed unless they are idiots. If it were to spring a leak, that much salt water would ruin the entire home. Plus, to support that kind of weight requires a certain type of foundation (basically solid concrete). Is it legal to adopt and own a shark?
It's perfectly legal and because Baltimore is on the water you ahold find more aquarium stores than an inland place but you should do research
Of course!, you just need to rent a boat and go fish it for yourself, good luck! muahahahahahaha

    Restaurants in Baltimore, Maryland?

Hi, I'll be visiting the Baltimore Aquarium and staying over night in the Harbor Court Hotel on February 13th - 14th with my boyfriend. My birthday is February 10th and our 1 year is on the 17th so I'm looking for a formal and romantic restaurant nearby to celebrate these days along with Valentine's Day. Thanks :)Restaurants in Baltimore, Maryland?
Oh my goodness, you're in for a treat. There are tons of formal places to celebrate your love. I personally like McCormick and Schmick because they aren't oober fancy so I feel in place. They also have an M%26amp;S for more casual diners. You'll be amazed at the selections at your fingertips when you visit. The aquarium is the greatest and don't forget to hop across the Harbor and visit the Science Museum. It is so much fun. It's a hands on learning experience for all ages.Restaurants in Baltimore, Maryland?
Go to fells point, John Stevens Ltd, an absolute charm of a place. They have THE BEST steamed shrimp!!!! along with sushi and smoked sea scallops!! Birds of a Feather- 57 single malt scotches ;). Bertha's Mussels- they are like satin( the steamed mussels) and pick up a bumper sticker!! Goolgle Fell's Point- you wont be sorry!!!

I need some ideas of fun things to do in the Maryland- washington D.C. area?

I've already looked at kings dominion, dorney park, hershey park, the baltimore aquarium etc. One thing we're planning on doing is going to the national archives. We've already been to the smithsonian, the national museum of natural science and history, and the holocaust museum. Most of the things I listed before are pretty expensive. So does anyone know of someway i can get a discounted rate? or can somebody tell me other places that are interesting that won't be so expensive?I need some ideas of fun things to do in the Maryland- washington D.C. area?
i live in the area. go to six flags. one i know is located past mitchellville plaza in maryland, and also there's the chesapeake beach water park in St. Mary's county in maryland. try there. ummm i'll look up more for u but the things u've listed are the things we usually go to lol but i'll see if i can find u some more activites. Also go to different counties in maryland, like charles county and def. st.mary's if u want to know a little more about it's history also they have great sites there too. such as the DR. Mudd house who's great granddaughter i think, or daughter lives in the house across from his. dr. mudd is the doctor who was arrested for being accused of being involved with lincolns assination after helping booth and his accomplis with his broken leg.n it's REALLY interesting.

me and my girlfriend want to have fun with the kids(ages 4 and 1) at first i was thinking either rehoboth beach, willdwood, new jersey or the baltimore aquarium. however, i realized that those trips are not in the budget. due to other bills being due. what can we do for fun with the kids? What are some fun places in the philadelphia area where we can take young kids?
The Franklin Institute in Philly has science exhibits just for kids. You can also take them to Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ, which would be a cheaper alternative to going all the way to Baltimore. I think there are also some old navy and sailing ships on display along the Delaware River on the Philly side, which could be fun.
In Philadelphia, you can visit the Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Liberty Bell. There is also the U.S Mint there to visit, and lots of monuments. There are also some nice landscapes and views with fields for nice picnics and cookouts. What are some fun places in the philadelphia area where we can take young kids?

What activities would a high school zoology club do?

My friend and I are looking to start a zoology club within our high school. What sort of things can we do? We live near D.C., in Maryland specifically, and we weren't sure of activities that the club could sponsor...

We've already come up with the ideas of visiting the National Zoo in Washington D.C, and the Baltimore Aquarium, and volunteering at local animal shelters, but what are some other things we can do?What activities would a high school zoology club do?
I'm not sure. Maybe you should contact some established zoology clubs. They might be able to give you some ideas and help you make your zoology club successful so that it will continue long after you graduate.

you could create learning activities about animals and the science behind it.

you could help educate others that are not in the club by doing speeches on a specific species

you could help with animal awareness by making posters and such,

you could raise money and donate it ;as long as it's legal

If you have the chance, go to see Fort McHenry where the Star Spangled Banner was written.

Stick to the harbor . Do not get lost. Crime is high. Friends have been victims of crimes while in baltimore...we stay clear unless we have a direct destination.

Is there any other interesting sites in Baltimore a 2yr old will be interested in viewing?

Taking my daughter to the Baltimore Aquarium, wanted to know is there any intersting things out there for us to doIs there any other interesting sites in Baltimore a 2yr old will be interested in viewing?
Absolutely - someone mentioned the dragon boats, but I think your best bet is Port Discovery, Baltimore's children's museum. I've included a link below. They advertise that they have programs for children from 2 -12. I think it would be ideal for you.

There is also a park on the south end of the harbor, just past the science museum (which is too old for her) where she can play - I think they have a sandbox and the like. She can also watch the boats and the birds.

One caveat and note - watch your child at the inner harbor - make sure you have her in a stroller or on your hand at all times. Two year olds can move fast - and there are places she could easily end up in the water all over the place!
She's not going to be terribly interested in sightseeing at two years of age, and that's not a thing you can change. Small, simple, brightly-colored items she can reach out and play with are what a two-year-old will be interested in. Be honest - it's YOU who wants to go sightseeing. So if you must take your child along, keep your excursions brief. Twenty minutes in the aquarium, then an equal amount of playtime for her - AWAY from the aquarium.

No, you can't see all there is to see there in twenty minutes. You can return multiple times, or you can wait a few years until the child is older. The aquarium isn't going to up and disappear in the meantime...Is there any other interesting sites in Baltimore a 2yr old will be interested in viewing?
Yes, the Aquarium and Port Discovery (if it's still open) are great ideas. You might also like the Baltimore Zoo and the B%26amp;O Railroad museum (with train rides available). Both were surprisingly good.
    Of course...i live in Baltimore

they have the national aquarium and also the science center which both always have attractions for the little ones

and they also have paddle boats in the harbour that are made in to dragons there for the kids also!

    Baltimore Aquarium and Dolphin Show?

ok i have been to the site aqua or wutever but i just need some one on one information on the whole trip...I mean where do u begin when u go there? and how do u know the timings of the dolphin show? i will probably order tickets online and want more information on the whole trip as where would i find the frog show and where can we eat..and i also wanted to ride the fairy or the boat wutever they have how much does that cost??? plz give me any information you have !!! thnx!!! this would be a family trip and i don't want to miss a thing!Baltimore Aquarium and Dolphin Show?
The aquarium with the dolphin show is $25 per person. It's $15-$20 to park for the day at the Inner Harbor. Try to go to the aquarium during the week, b/c I was there on a Sunday and it was packed. When you go in they have maps and a schedule of the dolphin shows. The dolphin show is awesome. Make sure you have at least 2-3 hours to stay and see everything. I think it's one of the best aquariums in the U.S. There is a coupon for parking at the aquarium website,I think. It's only $3 off, but a coupon is a coupon. I don't know about the boat b/c I've never been on it. If you enjoy baseball, you should go to an Orioles game too. Camden Yards is a great ballpark.
i haven't been, but the best place to find the times for the shows is guest relations, inside the park. times change for shows everyday. if the boat is inside, i would think that it would be included with admission.Baltimore Aquarium and Dolphin Show?
I've been here, it's a pretty decent aquarium! The dolphin show is great, and sit in the front to get wet. There should be times available each day, and the customer service or ticket desk should tell you when it is, definitely see it! It's really fun!

for food, there is a hard rock cafe right across the street from the aquarium.

I've never been to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, but my boyfriend absolutely loves sea life and aquariums and he's never really been to a big aquarium...I really want to take him for his birthday, but it seems kinda cheap to be real good? Cause its $30 for a dolphin show, a show, and admission...has anyone ever been there?? It'd be awesome to take him and i really need some opinions please. Also, if you know any good places on the way(pennsylvania-maryland) i can go to like food places or likfe fishing places or anything like that. Thank you so much! How is the Baltimore Aquarium?
I've been there. It's a bunch of fish and a dolphin show, way overpriced, in my opinion. But they do need to price their tickets so high in order to maintain the aquarium and pay the exhorbitant price of what it must cost to be located on the harbor. I've been to other aquariums and paid a lot less. I don't think aquariums are very fun, anyway. The dolphin show is neat though, but still a bit expensive overall.

What are some good attractions to go to for a vacation in Baltimore, MD?

Me and my Husband are going to Baltimore for our first vacation together (since we never had a honeymoon) and want to know some fun attractions to go to while we're there... We're staying for 4 days and already have plans for Medieval Times, 6 Flags and the Baltimore Aquarium.... I'm 19 yrs old, he's 20, so the clubs and bars are outta the question, and we both want to try a haunted tour or something interesting :)

Thanks Everyone! What are some good attractions to go to for a vacation in Baltimore, MD?
There is a ton of stuff to do in Baltimore. Check out this site for a really good list of activities: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g鈥?/a>What are some good attractions to go to for a vacation in Baltimore, MD?
In truth Baltimore doesn't have a whole lot of attractions. In addition to the Aquarium, Baltimore's inner harbor has the science center, and lots of eating places.

Do you like sports? If so, maybe you could catch a baseball game. The Orioles play about a mile away from the Aquarium. Since they are so lousy, tickets should be easy to come by. A short drive from 6 Flags are the Bowie Baysox minor league baseball team.

The Baltimore/Washington 6 Flags is really closer to Washington, so you might want to see what available there. Plenty of museums, tours etc.

How do you start your own aquarium?

I love fish and i have a home aquarium but i want to know what i would have to do to start an aquarium like the Sea World or The Baltimore Aquarium, I need to know what i would have to do to start something like that. Please Help! How do you start your own aquarium?
Wow that would be a lot of money. Could cost up to a million dollars. Then you have to pay all those workers. But you could always start of small and then make your way up. Plus the cash you will get in return will be amazing. And first you need a place to rent/ buy put. Good luck
Do you want to do freshwater or saltwater? I suggest starting with freshwater its easier and once you get the hang of that and understand water then move on to saltwater. There's alot you have to know like the nitrogen cycle and how many fish you can out in what size tank and what type of fish you want. Can you be a little more specific in your question and I can help you more. Aggressive fish or friendly fish? Big tank or small tank? How do you start your own aquarium?
Thinking of starting an aquarium store? With a little determination, creativity and money you'll be able to make a profit in no time. Here is how to set up your own home business.

Are Ipods allowed in the Baltimore Aquarium?

Tomorrow me, and the rest of my family are taking a bus trip to Inner Harbor, abd are going to the Baltimore Aquarium. The bus trip is an 8 hour round trip, 4 hours to and fro. So due to loosing light on the way home, books will not do it. My sister and I are taking our ipods for the bus teip home and my moms carrying them around in a little pack. The question is will we be able to get into the Aquarium with our ipods? Please help, weve checked the website and even tried calling 4 times but still have no solution, and this is happeneing TOMORROW!! please Answer! Are Ipods allowed in the Baltimore Aquarium?
I don't see any problem with bringing ipods to the Aquarium. They let you bring in your cell phones, why would they ban ipods.

who ever tells me about the boat or the fairy experience will get the best answer....Baltimore Aquarium and the boat trip?
The Baltimore Aquarium is located in the "Inner Harbor" - a downtown district of Baltimore that caters to tourists. That said, the Aquarium is SURROUNDED by dozens of places to eat. They have all the standard chains: Cheesecake Factory, Hard Rock, Johnny Rockets, ESPN Sportzone... but there are also a lot of privately owned places, too. After 5 years in Baltimore, I've tried most of them, and I can't say that any place is better than the other; they're all "pretty good", but none of them "wowed" me.

The Aquarium is set up so that you kinda have to follow the same path as everyone else. You start on the bottom floor and work your way up to the Amazon exhibit, then come back down through the shark tank. I haven't been there since they opened the Australia exhibit, so I'm not sure how that fits into the path.

There is a dolphin show every hour. When you purchase your tickets on site, they assign you to the next available time, which is then printed on your ticket. Not sure how that work if you buy your tix another way. Sometimes you see the dolphins right away, others times it's 2 or 3 hours later; just luck of the draw. Regardless, you're guaranteed to see it.

The "Ferry Boat" you're thnking of is actually a "Water Taxi". The difference is that it's not a round trip, but instead take you to different neighborhoods along the water. I forget exactly how much it costs... it's around $8 per person. That includes unlimited "on and off's" all day. It's very slow; not really worth it.

Other things a family would enjoy...

    - the ESPN Zone is a lot of fun, but kinda pricy

    - Camden Yards is about 8 block away from the Aquarium. Even if the Orioles aren't playing, they have a baseball musem there that's pretty cool.

    - A short drive away from the aquarium is the B%26amp;O Railroad Museum. Surprisingly interesting.

    - By the aquarium are two strongly reccomended things for families: The Maryland Science Center (with an IMAX theater) and the "Top of the World" Obervatory. You can see ALL the Baltimore Landmarks from the observatory, and it has labeled photos so you know what you're looking at.

    - Fort McHenry is about a 10 minute drive from the Aquarium. Free Admission and a great picnic area... very scenic.

    Have Fun!

I'm gonna take my 4 year old to the Baltimore aquarium what else is there to do around there?

Port Discovery Children's Museum is on the other side and inland of the Inner Harber from the Aquarium. My 4 and 6 yos at the time had a lot of fun with the many activities there.

Besides AAA rates, where and how can I get discount tickets to the Baltimore Aquarium?

Sometimes Visitor's Guide's will have coupons in them for different attractions. Get yourself a Baltimore Visitor's Guide and they may have some for the aquarium.

    Here is their website:

You can order a visitor's guide by clicking on Request a Visitor's Guide from the top.

Another place to look for discounts is on pamphlets in your hotel's lobby. They sometimes have coupons for a certain price off an attraction.Besides AAA rates, where and how can I get discount tickets to the Baltimore Aquarium?
    Go Friday after 5 pm

Is there free parking at the baltimore aquarium if yes were?

    No.

You can pay high fees close, or you can park a few blocks North East around the post office area, (north of Fayette Street) where meters are cheap.

You might also find cheap meters, or if you're lucky a free spot about a half mile east in the Little Italy/Fells Point area.

The above is assuming you go during the day. If you go on Sundays, or after 6pm, there should be some free parking within a few blocks.

Besides the Inner Harbor, there are a number of other things to see on the water. You can take a water taxi to Fells Point or to the Science Museum.

The Inner Harbor is right there. Stroll along by the water, stop in and check out all the shops, eateries, Science Center. Enjoy your day.

Does the Baltimore Aquarium offer a military discount?

As far as I can determine, they don't offer one at their entrance--at least not as a year-round standard practice.

Does the baltimore aquarium offer a military discount for admission?

You can get discount tickets for the Balt Aquarium at military rec centers or military welfare offices. It's a pretty good deal, cheaper admission, bypass regular lines, see the show. I'm not sure if you can buy the directly at the aquarium, but you can on base and at the Pentagon.

Where is the best restroom to have sex in at the Baltimore aquarium?

Ok before I am judge heres the story. Me and my girlfriend have a long distance relationship. We are hoping to meet up at the aquarium. She wont stay long because she has to head back to Ohio. But before she returns she wants us to "do the dirty deed" for the first time. Can anyone in the Baltimore area and has been inside the Baltimore aquarium tell me which restroom is the most isolated and what can we do not to get caught? Here is the map to the aquarium. http://www.aqua.org/map.htmlWhere is the best restroom to have sex in at the Baltimore aquarium?
The one at the entrance is the biggest one in the whole place. But may I suggest the one at the mall right next to the aquarium; less traffic and security.

At the inner harbor there's a place called Port Discovery. I haven't been in years, but I remember it being a blast for children of all ages, and their parents. Think of it as...a chuck e. cheese, but more hands-on. You have to pay for admission, and I don't remember how much it was, but I believe it's cheaper than the aquarium. But, again, I haven't been in several years. I'm giving you a link to the website, I hope you enjoy your trip to Baltimore, it's really a great city!

Make sure you buy them in advance or you'll spend the whole day waiting in line. AAA has discount rates.

Aquarium in DC is much cheaper but smaller (your 2 year old might not notice the difference). DC Zoo is free and has a good amount of fish.Baltimore Aquarium?
Go to the Inner Harbor's Hooters restaurant. Order the fried fish sandwich and you automatically get a child's ticket free. You do have to ask for it and it is called the Flipper Freebie. The sandwich is good, too.

    Is this good photography?

I'm 13, and I've been messing around with photography lately. I was just wondering what you think of these pictures I took during spring break at Kiawah Island outside of Charleston, SC.

Of a bird (I think it was called an Egret?), it was on a little dock for fishing, and was apparently really used to people because I got so close I could nearly touch it. But it was not tied down or clipped or anything.:

Are they even good? I'm not looking for compliments, swear. I asked my family, but they're...you know, family. Of course they like it. Or pretend to. Should I give up this stupid idea I have that I'm a (and I quote) "photographer"? It seems stupid and embarrassing.

Please give me real critique. What should I do different next time? Keep the same? What photos did you like, not like?

    Thanks(:Is this good photography?
White birds are one of the hardest the hardest things to expose properly. In this image the bird is blue, this is a white balance problem.http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> the creature is also dead centered...very static.

This http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> is so out of focus it should be tossed out.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> is getting closer with better exposure on the bird, but lots of flare and awkward cropping.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> all detail in the bird is lost, it is "blown out". The bird is also out of focus.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> in my opinion your best

shot. It could use a little saturation boost, but it is promising.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> totally out of focus, toss it out.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/65585620@N0鈥?/a> not enough is in focus to even tell what it is, poor composition.

You seem bright, not accepting just what your family and friends tell you. I hope you can take this critique and used it to improve. Photography is a lifetime skill and it's great fun, but there is a lot of learning to do to get it good. Look up composition and rule of thirds to begin your journey. Keep shooting!!!
I think the composition on this one is excellent, although it is underexposed.

You need to do a better job editting your photos. You have 2 or 3 decent photos in your stream and the rest are not something you should be showing because the flaws should be obvious. If you narrowed things down to you best work, you might have something. Is this good photography?
Not bad. Some of your pics are out of focus, and the sun's rays distort some of the images. If you want to be a professional photographer, you should take college-level courses in photography.

EDIT: There are photography programs that you can enroll in after high school. I did a google search and found a bunch of them.
Everybody has to start somewhere. There is a lot to be learned about photography, and becoming a great photographer takes a lot more time and effort than many people realize. It's not all about pointing a camera at something and just snapping a shot. If you want to learn more about taking great pictures, and you really want to get better at it, you shouldn't just give up on it. Practice really does make perfect.

You have a nice collection of snapshots there. The bird is underexposed (darker than it should be) in #1. It looks like the camera metered for the reflections on the water. It seems like you might be using a simple point-and-shoot model, but you can compensate for dark shadows by using exposure compensation. Your camera's manual should explain how to use that feature.

#2 and #4 are pretty blurry. You should be able to push your camera's shutter button down halfway before you take the shot. If you do that, you can have the camera lock its focus before you shoot.

#7 has the opposite problem that #1 has--the bird is overexposed. See how it's so bright you can't see the details in it? It looks like it was taken pretty hastily as the bird started to fly off.

Of all of them, I really like #6 the best. The framing is decent, and I like the way the light hits the bird's feathers and makes some of them glow. If I'd been the one to take it, I probably would have tried to cut that screw out of the picture, but that's really my biggest complaint. I usually don't care for flares in photos, but I do like the effect on this one.

If you'd like to build your skills in photography, the easiest way to do it would be to take a photography class or workshop or join a local photography club. You might check with a counselor at your school to see if they know of a local community college that might allow you to take a class or two there. Some schools do dual-enrollment deals where you can get both high school and college credit for classes you take.

Also, here are a few websites you might be interested in checking out for tutorials:

    http://www.digital-photography-school.co鈥?/a>

    http://www.cambridgeincolour.com

http://www.kenrockwell.com (Ken has some decent advice, but it's usually best taken with a grain of salt.)
You are 13 taking vacation snapshots with a point and shoot camera. You have no photographic skill base at this point. Your photos suffer from problems with white balance, focus, flare, composition, and exposure.

Enjoy your photos for what they are, ... records of a fun time in your life. To say you can or cannot be "a photographer" in your future based on these photos is impossible. That would be like saying when someone first starts walking if they are going to be an Olympic Gold medal winner in track and field competition. If you truly want to learn photography, then start doing it. But even then you are going to need a fully adjustable camera to apply pro level skill and technique. Don't rush it. Enjoy what you have now and learn what you can.

Here is a site that can give you a start:

    http://teenagephotographer.com/the-basic鈥?/a>

    steve
Photos 1 and 3 are really good so is the one of the parking lot next to the beach. Photo 1 the Egret is nicely framed by the reflection of the trees in the water.

Photo 3 is good with the Egret in sharp focus and nicely lighted. Two minor things the lens flare (the bluish light streak)in the middle of the pick, and the bolt by the bird (nothing you could do about that).

What I like about the landscape is the same for the other pictures how you used the rule of thirds, that is not putting the subject or horizon in the middle. If you do not know what the rule of thirds in photography look it up but I think you naturally get it.

The other pictures are well pictures nice some a tad bit out of focus. A good picture is simply the one that others take longer to look at. A so-so picture is the one friends quickly look at then move on.

If you want to refine you technique try getting a hold of the National Geographic Photography Field Guide: Secrets to Making Great Pictures books on photography.

Others might find fault but considering your age I think you have a talent.
    First 4 in order

1, bad exposure and the wb looks off, plus the bench or whatever on the right is intrusive.

    2. Terrible - it is totally out of focus.

    3. bad composition and exposure.

    4. the bird is overexposed and the whole picture is messy,

    next three

    1. boring snapshot

    2. Not your picture, not worth commenting on

    3. what is it supposed to be. it is a pretty silly shot to me.

Good you are playing around but you have a heck of a lot to learn.

Start with learning about exposure and work from there.

  • If, as Harry Reid said Monday, FEMA is broke, why did he not allow the Senate to vote on the bill?

So I guess this is Harry Reid and the democrats PLAYING POLITICS with an emergency aid bill, right libs? Apparently they didn't like the fact that this bill had the cuts to pay for it, so they refused to allow a vote on it.

Look at this Harry Reid quote from this week on the NEED for QUICK action on this bill: “The agency that rushes to help when disaster strikes will run out of money on Monday. I repeat, Monday,” he said Wednesday as he was pushing for quick action.

Apparently, a high dollar FUNDRAISER this weekend, and....surprise! No urgency now, right?

Who else thinks people like Reid NEED TO GO?

    excerpt...

“Harry Reid is holding a bill up with full funding for what is needed right now for no reason — for no reason but for politics,” said House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Virginia Republican. “This is why the people just don’t have the respect for this institution and this town anymore.”

But the Senate, led by Democrats and joined by some conservative Republicans, tabled that measure, 59-36.

Instead, Mr. Reid has called for a Monday vote on a new bill he wrote to accept the House-passed FEMA funding level, but to tack the additional spending onto the deficit rather than find cuts elsewhere.

Sen. Mitch McConnell, Republicans’ leader in the chamber, tried to speed the vote up to Friday afternoon, but Mr. Reid objected, saying he wanted the cooling-off period.

Senate Democrats also have a major campaign event to raise money from high-dollar donors at the luxurious Kiawah Island in South Carolina this weekend.

Earlier this week Mr. Reid was adamant that FEMA’s account was on the brink.

“The agency that rushes to help when disaster strikes will run out of money on Monday. I repeat, Monday,” he said Wednesday as he was pushing for quick action.

ON TOP OF THAT Harry Reid NOW has decided we should DEFICIT SPEND to pay for this, rather than make cuts to pay for it...Sounds like Reid is all about fiscal responsibility, right?

Quote: Instead, Mr. Reid has called for a Monday vote on a new bill he wrote to accept the House-passed FEMA funding level, but to tack the additional spending onto the deficit rather than find cuts elsewhere.

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011…

And they wonder why people hate congress? If, as Harry Reid said Monday, FEMA is broke, why did he not allow the Senate to vote on the bill?
it is broke because it has become encumbered by homeland security, and destroyed fema
Because, as he has said all along, he would like a long term solution instead of yet another short term fix that will require yet another fight in a few months. If, as Harry Reid said Monday, FEMA is broke, why did he not allow the Senate to vote on the bill?
Harry Reid declared the bill Dead On Arrival because it paid for the additional FEMA funds by reducing funding for green energy jobs like Solyndra.

The Democrats are in favor of many more Solyndras
reid is in the senate--not th congress. Reid TABLED SEVERAL BILLS that came out of the congress regarding the deficit. Reid TABLED the balance budget amendment PASSED in the congress. Reid has tabled obamacare repeal from the congress. Reid, is the ONE MAN that has totally stopped any bills from being passed.

    Moving to Charleston, SC area.......?

I am moving with 2 high school aged students. I will work near the Citadel Mall. What are the best neighborhoods and high schools in that area? I've heard of Mt. Pleasant %26amp; Kiawah Island. Any advice?Moving to Charleston, SC area.......?
mt pleasant is the best area there. you might also want to try james island, folly beach (my fav place) or west ashley. just stay away from north charleston. it is one of the highest crime zones in the country. as for high schools, i dunno, i wasnt raised there. some places to check out: Tsunami restaurant downtown or mt pleasant. RB's in shem creek(mt pl.), Reds Ice House (shem creek), McCrady's downtown. some of the best food ever! just keep in mind that charleston is a VERY expensive town. (well, for me it was...) if ya like history, that town is full of it. check out Fort Sumter, its cool. the downtown is very old and pretty. i hope you like the town half as much as I did..... its the east coasts best kept secret.Moving to Charleston, SC area.......?
kiawah is about an hour and half away... mt pleasant is really nice. if you want to live in a country-type setting try goose creek. Summerville is also a very nice place to live. great school programs all around. summerville is more towards athletics. but what ever you do STAY OUT OF NORTH CHARLESTON!!!

    Weather in charleston sc?

What is the weather like in Charleston,South Carolina in April or May? What would be the better month to visit? We are going to Kiawah Island.Weather in charleston sc?
Lucky you! Kiawah is one of my favorite, all time beach resorts. Although you will probably be okay in April, I would suggest that, to be on the safe side, you plan your visit for May. Both the ocean and air temperatures will be perfect for swimming and lazing on the beach, and the humidity will low. Have a great time.

    Mysterious Orange ocean Blob?

ok so we saw this orange blob on the beach and can not figure out what it is. it is like hard and slimy and kind of a light orange color. it doesn't have a head or arms, legs or anything. we saw it on Kiawah Island in South Carolina. it is so weird. so like anyone knows what it is?Mysterious Orange ocean Blob?
I wouldnt touch it if i were you---whales poop is orangeMysterious Orange ocean Blob?
It could be a sponge that became detached from a rock, or a piece of coral.

  • Which beach around Charleston, SC should I go to?

I can't decide between Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, or Kiawah Island. I'm want to go to the most scenic of the three and have never been to either one of them. I looked up pictures but still can't decide.Which beach around Charleston, SC should I go to?
I'd go for Beachwalker Park on Kiawah Island. It's a South Carolina public beach. Kiawah Island Resort is gated but just before you reach the Main Gate turn right and follow the signs to Beachwalker Park. It's really nice and clean with access to the entire Kiawah Island beachfront which is over ten miles long end to end. Kiawah has very wide beaches. The dunes are wild and pretty. Sunset (and sunrise) are beautiful. There are a few concession stands for ice cream and snacks, good parking, a low boardwalk out to the beach and nice public restrooms. It's very low key and the beach is never crowded. The drive from downtown charleston is about 40 minutes, follow the signs for Kiawah Island. That's my personal choice.

Any thoughts on Charleston, South Carolina?

My dad and I might be moving to Charleston, South Carolina, in a place near there called Ashley. I think it's a suburb. So, do you have any thoughts on this city? What's the economy like? Is Charleston a family-friendly place? Are the beaches very crowded?

Have you ever heard of the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island? What do you think of this place?

Any advice or opinions at all are much welcomed.

And I don't mean sight seeing and tourist attractions, if I'm going to live there it's not like I would be going to attractions everyday.

Thanks!Any thoughts on Charleston, South Carolina?
I'm hoping to go to Charleston this September with my group clubhouse overnight trip I hear many great things about it. Though it is a big city so there will probably be some people in a rush at some places but many of the people there would be friendly I would assume the beaches are crowded I went to Myrtle Beach 4 years ago and those beaches were fairly crowded. But Charleston may be different I hope I get to go there someday.
Just visited but the old part of Charleston is the prettiest city in the USA, having visited many cities. I don't like cities, but have made a couple of vacation trips there. Not sure about the more modern suburbs though. But climate seems nice if not a bit sticky in summer.Any thoughts on Charleston, South Carolina?
I've only visited Charleston a few times on business, but I found it friendly with lots to do.

    What's the best golf course(s) you've played?

Mine: Kiawah Island Ocean Cse., TPC Sawgrass, Bethpage, Castle Pines, Harbour Town, Lake Las Vegas.

Kiawah Island was by far the hardest. What's the best golf course(s) you've played?
Kiawah Island Ocean Course, Pinehurst #2, TPC Sawgrass, Congressional Country Club, Five Farms, Merion
Durban Country Club, South Africa. Rated for many years in the top 100 in the world.

Valderama Spain. Great course and you get treated like a king with something like 15 minutes between 4 balls and 2 caddies per fourball who's sole jobs are to clean up after you - raking the bunkers filling divot marks etc.

Kauri Cliffs New Zealand. Stunning views and also a great track. Again treated like a king but not quite the same level as Valderama. Check it up on the Internet. What's the best golf course(s) you've played?
Iv only played some norfolk courses and one in tennessee. The one in tennesse i only played 9 so i would have to say Lake Wright. Its not the best of courses but for the price of 18 holes, it has been the best so far. That may change after saturday when I try a new course.
Top 10 I've played: St. Andrews (old course), Carnoustie, Oakmont, Torrey Pines, Homestead (Cascades), Poipu Bay, Lionhead, Royal Montreal, Glen Abbey, Royal Melbourne.

    Couldn't give you an order.
Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. It was the #4 course in the state and it had one of the 18 hardest holes in the nation (according to Golf Digest).

Hi there! Are you driving down from Cincinnati to Charleston? If you pass through Asheville, NC, the Biltmore Estate is awesome!

In Charleston, SC, be sure to visit one or more of the plantations. There are several of them. We've only visited two so far, Middleton Place and Magnolia Plantation.

How long will you be in the area? I'd suggest taking a horse-drawn carriage ride tour of the downtown area. • Do you think I would be safe walking alone?

It's a beautiful, clear warm night and I want to go on a walk on the beach. Right now my family is staying at Kiawah Island in SC, where you have to get past security as soon as you enter the island. Most people here are civilized, and it's only about a 10 minute walk to the beach from our condo.Do you think I would be safe walking alone?
You're 15, female, (probably naive), and cute. If you were my daughter, I'd not let you go out ANYWHERE for a lone walk at night.

Just because it is a gated community, doesn't mean that it is safe.
Yes, you are safe. I have been to Kiawah Island many times, and I think of it as one of the safest places to go for vacation. Everybody there must pass through a security gate. Kiawah is also a very high-end place, and I don't think that creepy people are going there who are going to hurt you.

You might not notice it, but there is a very strong police presence in Kiawah Island. One night, somebody called from there house that two teenage boys were being noisy outside. Coincidentally, my brother and I were walking outside, and two police cars surrounded us and asked us what we were up to. They realized we weren't doing anything wrong, and they continued the search for the perpetrator.Do you think I would be safe walking alone?
It's not safe anywhere!!! Don't trust anyone!!! Even a good man can grab you at night %26amp; molest you just because he's sexually deprived %26amp; his wife rejected him %26amp; has sexual urges. So, don't be naive, %26amp; don't be a victim. Go to the beach with friends %26amp; parents. When it's dark criminals have an easier time.
If you are that worried about it, talk your parents into letting you take self defense classes when you get home. Try to find one that specializes in women's self defense.

Meanwhile, try to walk confidently. Attackers go after people who look like they won't fight back.
I will say don't let your guard down.

Get a cell phone handy, get pepper spray handy.

Be alert and be ready to defend yourself.

Also, don't go to area that is too quiet or too few people. Don't go at evening or night.
    depends how old you are,

and if your parents let you go alone.

its more fun if you have another person with you.
It is not safe even you are 15 or older. Better find someone to accompany you.
it depends how old u ar ...

How much money should I bring on vacation?

I'm going to kiawah island sc for a week with my friend she told me to bring spending money and I have no idea how much to bring!! Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!How much money should I bring on vacation?
Travelers checks, you can get them at any bank. That way if they're lost or stolen you can have them replaced. As for how much...That is up to you, What can you afford?
Well it depends on how well off you are. Seeing that this money is just for extra stuff, I don't know why these people are telling you to bring so much money, but I would suggest no less than five hundred, but you shouldn't bring any more than $2,500 unless you plan on buying a house there... :) Have fun!How much money should I bring on vacation?
$500 if you are just getting souvenirs and other little things.
bring atleast $2,500 i think that would be enough
5000 TO BE ON THE SURE SIDE

Kiawah is beautiful! I went there years ago, but it is beautiful. Not to touristy. We rented a condo and had a very short walk to the beach. The hotels are expensive but your best bet is to rent a condo. There was an alligator in our yard in the canal! Don't expect any nightlife unless you want to drive a bit, but a relaxing place. Great beaches, nice to rent bikes because you can ride everywhere. They have some nice restaurants nearby as well. Charleston is nearby and wonderful to tour. We went on some nice sailboat rides and saw dolphins. Beautiful trip.Kiawah Island for honeymoon? Have you ever been to Kiawah Island, SC?
Careful - I came to Charleston five years ago and was never able to leave! ;) I love it here, and Kiawah is just beautiful. It is slightly more secluded than other beaches in the SC area and much nicer than most. Hilton Head is another VERY nice beach that is close to Kiawah. I would go to either for my honeymoon!

Please give me restaurants on or around, but don't tell me about charleston I already know good restaurants there and i want to know about Kiawah.Any good places to eat on or around Kiawah Island, SC?
You didn't really say if you're staying on Kiawah or nearby, so I'm not sure how much experience you've got with that area. But, in case you don't know already, Kiawah is a private owner/resort and big golf area and you have to have a pass just to get on the island (unless you're going to Beachwalker Cty. Park which is just outside the gate), so for whatever reason it is you're going, make sure you'll even be able to get on the island. As far as restaurants, you can go to the links below and get info on the dining options available on the island. I'm sure just about any restaurant in Kiawah would be good. Other than that, you'll either have to eat somewhere in Freshfields Village (a shopping center at the roundabout outside of the gate), John's Island (which has about nothing), or going to James Island, West Ashley, or yes downtown. Seabrook Island is also nearby, but it's also a gated community that you'd need a pass for.

Second best course at the Kiawah Island Resort?

I'm going down there for a vacation and we are going to play twice. The Ocean Course is obviously the nicest, which is why we are playing it. But I do not know which course is the second nicest. Therefore, I'm asking which other course to play on the Island. Turtle Point, Osprey Point, Oak Point, or Cougar Point.Second best course at the Kiawah Island Resort?
    Osprey!

If you want all golf, all day, play Osprey Point early in the morning. Then play in the afternoon at The Ocean Course (finish up the day there with a drink!). Using this "re-play" method, you'll save on green fees.

*This scenario assumes you love golf (and have a respectable handicap) and can endure what Osprey and the Ocean Course will dish out.

Which is a better place to surf at: Kiawah Island or Hilton Head Island?

I am a beginner and if you could please include details about the better place.Which is a better place to surf at: Kiawah Island or Hilton Head Island?
There are better spots in S.Carolina. I know a few people who surf (or I should say used to surf there) at Hilton Head. I never heard of anybody surfing at Kiawah Island (I thought only rich golfers went there anyhow. From surfline.com, " Private developments with little access. Surf anywhere if you're staying here, though. You can get onto Kiawahs' beach at Beachwalker County Park.").

But there are a few really decent places to surf in S. Carolina. I am going to spend ten days at one spot next there starting next Friday. (I heard from an SC surfer I was just talking to on the phone that it's going to be overhead there tomorrow ). But, I won't disclose that spot on line.

If you are a beginner, check out some of the answers to old, resolved questions, there is some good information in them.

I have been surfing for 42 years, and I still get the best answers to my surfing questions at good surf shops at the places where I surf. Go to a surf shop, not a computer. the folks there can hook you up with lessons, rent you a board to learn on; sell you a board when you are ready to buy, and point you to all of the good local spots. Stuff you can't get by computer.

When you are no longer a beginner, you will understand why I won't tell anybody on line where I think is the best break down that way. It is already crowded enough. Good luck!

I'm looking to verify whether other islands are geographically situated like this, or whether all others run North to South. Are Kiawah Island, SC, and Long Island, NY, the only two East Coast island that run East to West? Any others?
There are numerous islands that have east/west dimension longer than their north/south dimension, far too many to name. You didn't clarify any lower size limit to your question....but there are thousands of islands up and down the east coast of almost every geographic configuration you could think of. Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Island would be two of the larger ones that are generally east/west in shape. Some of the barrier islands of North Carolina (Cape Lookout Seashore) are also east/west.
fire island is outside long island, and runs parallel to it.Are Kiawah Island, SC, and Long Island, NY, the only two East Coast island that run East to West? Any others?
There are some islands in the extreme southern Outer Banks, near Cape Lookout that run east - west. Also some of the Florida Keys run more east - west than they do North - South.

    Greetings!

There is so much to do for a romantic getaway at Kiawah! Intimate dining settings, beautiful surroundings, and most importantly, great programs to explore the island!

I would highly recommend renting bikes during your stay. This way, you will be able to travel the island by bike. There are over 33miles of bike trails and you can even ride these classic beach cruiser bikes on the beach.

As far as for romance, the Kiawah Island Recreation Department holds a couple of tours right at sunset: The Adult Twilight Paddle and the Sunset Cruise. The Adult Twilight Paddle is a kayaking tour on the Kiawah River. Led by an experienced Naturalist, you paddle through the sunset and see Kiawah wildlife in the illuminating marsh.

The Sunset Cruise is another way to view the river at sunset. You get to sit back and relax while a Captain does the work. You may also bring beverages of your choice for the ride.

Another great motorboat tour is the Dolphin Encounter. This is held three times throughout every day. It is led by a Captain who will take you to various spots in the water where you might be able to see Kiawah dolphins in their natural environment. This tour is great!

To make reservations for all of the tours and the bike rentals, just call 843.768.6001. You can also stop in the Heron Park Nature Center in Night Heron Park for more help with activities during your stay. Hope you have a great time!

Can you swim with dolphins at Kiawah Island?

Is there any place in Kiawah Island where you can swim with dolphins? %26amp; I don't mean "are there dolphins in the ocean that you can swim with". I mean an organized place where you can swim with them.

If so, is there a website? Or could you give me a phone number? Can you swim with dolphins at Kiawah Island?
I don't think there is a company that does dolphin swims on Kiawah, unless it is very recent.

Your best avenue for this information would be the town's Visitor Center.

Their website (with contact details) is at the link below:

    6) The lion at the Pittersburg Zoo has a mane that is a beautiful sandy colour, and a fierce roar.

Please note where I have put the noun, as the subject of the above sentence, also the possition of the comer(s). I live in England so to me the word color is spelt colour.

    7) When the unexpected thunderstorm occurred it caused thousands of dollars damage, and left many people without electric power. OR When the unexpected thunderstorm occurred, many of people were left without electric power, and thousands of dollars damage was done.

    8) When the ferret escaped, it ran out the door, and down the street.

    9) Her voice was strong and forceful as she made a speech before the General Assembly.

    10) The "Leaves of Grass" is a collection of poems written by Walt Whitman in 1855. OR Walt Whitman wrote a collection of poems called "Leaves of Grass", it was published in 1855.

    11) Clark Gable stared in "Gone With the Wind", he was born in Cadiz, Ohio.

    12) As Miranda is the editor of the yearbook, she conducted the workshop.

    13) Nicole, as judge of the cheering competition, presented the trophy.

    14) As (OR Since) Molly was the valedictorian of her class, she plans to attend college in Pennsylvania.

15 When Paul won the talent show, he received $ 10,000. Better if changed to "he was awarded the $ 10, 000 prize".)

  • What colleges could I get into?

I'm looking to go for Biology.

    Resume:

    SAT - 1670

    ACT - 26

    Freshman year GPA - 2.6

    Sophmore year GPA - 2.9

    Junior year GPA - 3.4

Senior year GPA - expecting around a 4.5 or higher

In my freshman up to my junior year i had severe depression. Thus the terrible GPA's.

I've had two internships; One at the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, and one at the National Aviary. Both of which are centered around Biology. I've also have done many of projects with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. I've volunteered since 8th grade at PACC helping hands., which is a program that caters to the mentally challenged. I've also been volunteering at a horse stable since the age of 8. I feed, water, medicate the horses. I've played the Piano since I was 5. I'm in a band that plays at school functions a lot. I'm in G.A.T.E. which is gifted and talented education. It's a program at my school for kids with I.Q.'s over 140. I've been a class officer since 10th grade. At the start of freshman year I was in no honors classes. As of now I'm in all honors and 1 A.P. course. I created and run an Ultimate Frisbee club team at my school, and it has high success. I also play in an ultimate Frisbee league around Pittsburgh. I'm on the rowing team (since freshman year) I've taken twice the recommended science credits and I'm taking two science courses next year. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. I want to make something of myself and I can't do that with out going to college lol. What colleges could I get into?
I think you could get into most state schools. Their test score requirements and grade points are often lower than private institutions. A friend of mine's son got in to Western Michigan University with a 24 on his ACT to prove my point.

Don't overlook private institutions, though. They have higher requirements for grade point and scores, but look at individual cases. Your extracurriculars are awesome and your educational history is compelling, which will count when applying to schools.

Go to meeting and visit days to show schools your interest in them, plus you get to meet some administrators who may remember a well presented image!

    Good luck!
