A noun clause acts to modify the noun..it defines which noun is being discussed.
So the lion..which lion? The one whose main is a beautiful sandy color. Or the defining characteristic could be that it lives in Pittsburgh zoo. It depends on the meaning you intend. So you get, The lion, which lives at the Pittsburgh zoo, has a beautiful sandy mane. OR The lion, whose mane is a beautiful sandy color, lives at the Pittsburgh Zoo.
The rest follow the same pattern. A noun clause allows you to combine simple sentences into complex sentences. The noun clause will begin with a relative pronoun..who, whose, which, that etc
