Kiawah Island is a barrier island located about 20 miles from downtown Charleston, SC.
With over 10 miles of beaches, KI makes a fabulous vacation. There are 4 golf courses including the famous Ocean Course where the 2012 PGA will be held.
The Sanctuary Hotel is the only hotel on Kiawah. It is a 5 star hotel. Additional accommodations may be secured by renting homes and villas from private owners and rental companies.
