Are backpacks permitted in the baltimore aquarium?

i am planning on going to the aquarium and would like to pack some drinks, and carry my epipen in my backpack. will they permit me to do so in the aquarium? im not sure if they allow you to carry bags inAre backpacks permitted in the baltimore aquarium?
Website says: "For the safety of our visitors and to provide the best experience, all bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the the Aquarium" which implies that they let them in. But they do have a bag check, so you can always check it if necessary, and you'll probably enjoy your visit more if you're not lugging a big bag.

Many museums, etc., require you to check any bags except a purse. They will at least search the bag when you enter.Are backpacks permitted in the baltimore aquarium?
