It's only $20, that's not very expensive. Real tagines start at $80-$200.
If you make alot of Moroccan food, then it's a good idea. It's got great reviews, now you got me --- I am going to get one myself! Thanks!
Orka, maker of the silicone mitts that let you pluck an egg straight out of a pot of boiling water, has added an ancient form to this modern material鈥檚 line. Its small silicone tajine looks like the classic conical cooking vessel of Morocco but is far lighter and unbreakable. Heat resistant up to 480 degrees, it can be used to braise a one-pot saffron chicken dinner in the oven. The microwave- and dishwasher-safe tajine is available in a variety of colors.
I bought the tagine ($12.99). Hopefully it works well. I got the silecone mits too - they work great (so far)

Orka Silicone Tagine? It seems like an extravagant purchase for such a specialized piece of equipment. You could get similar results with an enameled cast iron casserole (a 4.5 Q oval would work, or even a Duth oven with a studded inner lid, like a Le Creuset and infinitely more versatile) But, if you love gadgets, it may be just the thing you want.
